5th - 6th May Coriole Music Festival 2012 You will experience seldom played musical masterpieces at the 2012 Coriole Music Festival; a weekend of fine music, food and wine in the beautiful McLaren Vale winery region of South Australia.

Performed in Coriole’s acoustically superb Barrel Room, the 14th Coriole Music Festival will bring together some of the finest chamber musicians from around Australia to present a fascinating exploration of the development and influence of Italian music.

Selected by Music Director, Professor Christopher Burrell, the program will focus on Italian music from the Renaissance onwards, and the sweeping changes in violin playing and writing from the 16th century through to modern times.

After each of the concerts you can get to know the musicians over Coriole’s own highly awarded wines and an Italian inspired meal featuring local South Australian produce prepared by Tina Llewellyn from The Rolling Pin.

26th - 28th May Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally Enjoy the thrill of rally racing through the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula.

From dedicated tarmac rally machines and home-grown rally cars to thoroughbred beauties, classic and modern. See them all on the road during the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally.

The first day competitors start in the Adelaide Hills and race towards Penny’s Hill Winery at McLaren Vale, where they finish for the day.

The second day South Australian Rally Championship competitors join the race for the competitive stages from Willunga to Victor Harbour. There are service stops at Penny’s Hill Winery and the Victor Harbor Foreshore, great spots to watch from!

The final day is stages from Strathalbyn to Onkaparinga Hills, with service stops at Penny's Hill Winery and Macclesfield.

Get a spot at designated spectator points and service parks throughout the event.

28 July - 29 JulyThe Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is held in late July and is an exciting mix of food, fun and entertainment aimed at all ages, locals and visitors from far and wide.

The celebrations attract total crowds upwards of 15,000 people and are a showcase of all that Willunga and the surrounding areas have to offer. The festival celebrates the first blossom of the season, an important part of the history and landscape of the area.

The program features the very popular and well-known Willunga Farmers Market, the newly formed Artists Market and an outdoor Festival Market, an eclectic and daily festival lunches, an official launch with highlights of the festival, a youth oriented “Big Arvo”, a Street Parade, Family Fair Day, week long Festival Lunches and concert series, a fire and light spectacular and a Grand Festival Ball.
