Alexandrina Cheese is a GOLDEN DREAM for Dan and Krystyna McCaul, and family. This golden dream takes on four generations of the family, with over 30 years of dairy farming jersey cows and over a 100 years of cheese making. This equates to a family renowned for their passion, their traditions and their hard work, to make the golden dream a reality.
McLaren Vale Olive Groves is a 60 acre property nestled amongst the vines, high above the township of McLaren Vale. The family owned property consists of 20 acres of Kalamata olive trees, 2 acres of Verdale olive trees and just over 30 acres of Shiraz vines. The old settlers cottage has been turned into a cellar door which offers the opportunity to taste and purchase a fabulous range of olives & oils, plus many other local gourmet foods. A brand new function facility overlooking the newly landscaped gardens and lake, ideal for weddings, corporate lunches or product launches.
FruChocs Showcase Robern Menz is Australia's largest lozenge mint manufacturer and South Australia's largest confectioner, producing such icons as Menz FruChocs, Menz Crown Mints, Medlow Fruit Gels and more. They are also a leading packer of Robern glacé and dried fruit. Their three brands, Menz confectionery, Medlow Confectionery and Robern dried and glacé fruit are household names in Australia.
Bella Cosa Gallery Set in several acres of mature pine forest are exhibits of large sculptural works by some of SA best known sculptors. There are new pieces being added to the collection each month as the list of represented works grows. Media range from Austin steel to limestone and from mixed media of found objects to bronze pieces. Many of these sculptures represent years of work and some are for sale while others are permanent. Enjoy walking through the forest with a map to find the listed works and enjoy views of vineyards and the beautiful Willunga Hills. At the Gallery Shop - small sculptures, jewellery, ceramics and a selection of local souvenirs & produce can be purchased.
